Equipment used

Numerous and sophisticated biomedical equipments will be used for the cardiorespiratory, metabolic, neurological and hematological parameters recording, both during the day and during the night time sleep. Besides two complete meteorological stations will be installed to the base camp and to the advanced base camp. Instead three microclimatic stations will be employed for measuring some parameters inside the tents. Portable sensors for the microclimatic variable analysis will be positioned on the backpacks and on the equipments of the expedition's members. All the moving of the group during the trekking will be monitoring with a Gps system. Besides the participants' body temperature will be measured with some sensors " iButtons", which will be applied directly on the skin. Finally, a thermographic detector will record the images produced by the thermal radiations give off by the members of the expedition.
